Prelims Exam Information about WBP SI Exam

Selection Procedure :
This exam consists of several stages for candidates.To qualify this exam, candidates needs to clear all the stages including :
- Prelims Exam : This is the first step.The exam consists of 100 questions on General Studies,Logical and Analytical Reasoning,and Arithmetic,with a total of 200 marks.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT):Those candidates who qualified in prelims exam will participate in a physical measurement test.Candidates are selected on the basis of measurement of height,weight,and chest.
The Criteria for minimum physical measurement for candidates follows as below :

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) : –Candidates who qualified in the PMT Test will participate in the PET test for running.The running parameters are different for male and female.
- For Males (Both AB & UB Branch) : – Male candidates need to complete 800 meters run within 3 minutes.
- For Females (UB Branch) : – Female candidates need to complete 400 meters run within 2 minutes.
- For Transgender (UB Branch) : Candidates need to complete 400 meters run within 1 minute 40 seconds.
- Final Combined Competitive Examination :- This exam consists of three papers including :

5.Personality Test (30 Marks): Those candidates who have cleared the Final Combined Competitive Examination will call for a personality test.
Candidates need at least 08 marks to pass this test irrespective of the marks obtained in the Final Combined Competitive Examination.
Note : The final merit list of selected candidates shall be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained in the Final Combined Competitive Examination and Personality Test.
